An absolute gem on the Southern Oregon coast. Eating at The Crazy Norwegian's is always something I look forward to when driving down the scenic 101. If you're looking for "the spot" to get some tasty fried fish, you've found it. Everything I've had - the fish and chips, fried oysters, and clam strips (as well as the clam chowder!) have all been delightful. The restaurant is rather small, but I usually don't have too much of an issue finding a table for my party of two. Larger groups may have more difficulty. The wait staff is friendly, attentive, and keep the dining area tidy. The Crazy Norwegian's is definitely worth the stop for lunch, whether you're a local or a tourist. I certainly miss living closer by when eating there was little more than a short drive. But it's so good that I'm still willing to make the trip!

We always make a point to eat at Crazy Norwegian when driving down the coast. We eat alot of fish and chips, and this is some of the best on the west coast. They have great pie as well, but no room for pie that day.

We ordered at the window and sat outside at a picnic table with our dog. Service was friendly and efficient. The fish and chips was awesome! The batter is a thin and crispy and the fish was flaky, moist, and delicate in flavor. The tartar sauce was full of dill and relish and had a nice brininess. The fries were very solid and the perfect vehicle for their amazing chipotle and blue cheese sauces! Everything had a generous sprinkling of coarse salt which was magnificent. It was also a huge portion for only $18. Afterward, my husband and I were so stuffed and realized we should have split one in order to save room for their pies. But if you come hungrier than us, you'll be just fine to do your own and still get pie. lol Highly recommend.

This cute little place served up some great food and also allowed us to watch Formula1 with their wifi. We were camping at Humbug Mtn State Park and were craving some seafood and before driving down here we did a little research and Yelpers were spot on with this recommendation. We each ordered a bowl of their Clam Chowduh and we shared the Super combo (or at least I think that is what it is called) which came with 3 pieces of Cod, 3 Shrimp and 3 oysters. Every thing was cooked to perfection and the chips were also cooked well. Thankfully they weren't busy while we were eating and enjoying F1. We would gladly go back there and eat. The staff was very pleasant and the food was cooked exceptionally well and the prices were quite fair. We shared the razzle pie which is part raspberry and part blackberry (I think) and it was really good.

Delicious fish and prawns and chips! Conveniently located on the side of the highway to grab lunch. There was a line but they worked as fast as they could with the staff on hand. Friendly folks, will def come back.

A little building on the side of the road that serves delicious fish/prawns and chips basket here! They had a line when we got here but they explained they were short staffed. Understandable! The line went fairly fast and food was ready in timely manner. The food was more than worth any wait. It was fried nice and crispy. Fries were deliciously beer battered.

We had to stop, just because of the name! It's a small restaurant and the tables are a bit tight. Service was good. We were late in the evening so missed out on desserts. The Hubbs is in search of the best chowder in the PNW, and though he enjoyed it, it was not the best. I liked that you can order fish and chips with 2, 4, or 6 pieces. The pieces are small so 4 pieces were right for me. I had the pasta salad option which I really liked. They offer adult beverages, and they were out of mugs so I drank mine from the can. They do a lot of take-out orders. There is a nice patio if you don't mind the breeze. It was a nice stop.

The clam chowder is magnificent, the prawns were so big my grandson asked if it was a lobster..lol But the fish OMGoodness so moist and flaky with the perfect crispy crust on the outside. One of the best I've has in Oregon sorry Bow Pickers they topped you ;) The marionberry pie though! Drool worthy warm and fresh out the oven perfect end to our meal. We will be back every chance we get.
